Wipro Sweet 'n' Healthy Indoor Corporate Championship was one of those rare sports events that was aimed at working executive's of top corporates across Bangalore. Four indoor games were held which included Badminton , Chess , Table Tennis and Carr oms. The games provided the working executive's a break from their busy work schedule and also helped them to network with employees of other organizations. This event was held across two days on December 5th and 6th.
Games drew participation from employees of around top 60 corporate companies in Bangalore. The corporates included the likes of HP, Mphasis, HCL, Technologies, Schneider Electric, Oracle, Fidelity, IBM, Shell , Honeywell , Dell, Wipro, Infosys, Mindtree, Cognizant, SAP, Motorola etc. A total of 300 athletes from different companies participated in these events.
After a grueling two days of intense competition Wipro Technologies with a total of 242 points were declared the Indoor Corporate Champions 2009. Team Wipro Technologies swept through the events winning the team championships in all the four disciplines. HCL Technologies was second overall, while Mphasis finished third.
