ROOTS SPORTS is a sport management firm based in Bangalore launched in January 2007. The main focus of Roots Sports will be conceptualizing and managing sports events across the country.
Passion for sport, brought together professionals from diverse fields to promote Sports for All - at every level to address the lack of sporting culture in the country. The team consists of professionals from the field of sports management, entertainment, marketing and media with expertise in handling events like football, golf, marathon, rugby, World Cup qualifiers, cricket etc.
Roots Sports caters to the corporate executives by initiating inter corporate sports tournaments. With companies trying to create a relaxed work atmosphere for its employees, sports activities go a long way in fostering team spirit and enhancing employee loyalty. Events of this nature also gives brands an ideal opportunity to connect to young professionals.
Besides corporate sports, we would be looking at developing football at school and grassroots level.
We want to create long term sports properties that help companies reach across to their target audience, as well as encourage more people to take up sports.
